Australian Labradoodle Puppies in California
We raise our Mini Australian Labradoodles in our family home in Sacramento, California, and we place them
with families across California — the Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego and Fresno included. Here is exactly how it works.
Flight nanny to California
Your puppy flies in the cabin with a nanny from Sacramento (SMF) to a short drive or a 1–2 hour flight — the same day in the air. You meet them at arrivals.
Or come to Sacramento
Fly in, meet the parents and the litter, and take your puppy home in the cabin the same day. We prepare the carrier and the health certificate.
What travels with the puppy
Health certificate, vaccination record, microchip, ALAA registration, a go-home bag with familiar food and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Questions from California families
Do you deliver Australian Labradoodle puppies to California?
Yes. We are a Sacramento, California breeder and we regularly send puppies to families in California. Most families choose a flight nanny who carries the puppy in the cabin from Sacramento International (SMF) to a short drive or a 1–2 hour flight — the flight takes the same day. You meet the nanny at the arrivals gate, and your puppy is in your arms the same day.
Can we come to Sacramento and pick the puppy up ourselves?
Absolutely, and many California families do. You are welcome to fly in, meet the parents and take your puppy home with you in the cabin. We help with the paperwork, the carrier and the health certificate for the flight.
How much does it cost to bring a puppy to California?
Ground transport inside California is included. For California the cost depends on the airport and the season — we quote it honestly before you reserve, with no mark-up on the nanny's fee or the airline ticket.
Is the puppy healthy and ready to travel?
Every puppy leaves with a veterinary health certificate, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a microchip and ALAA registration. Parents are health-tested (OFA hips, elbows, eyes and Orivet DNA), and we never send a puppy before eight weeks of age.

Raising an Australian Labradoodle in California
Climate & coat care in California
California families get the shortest trip home of anyone — Antelope is just outside Sacramento, so most Northern California families pick their puppy up in person, and Southern California families can fly into Sacramento (SMF) for a same-day trip. Inland valleys get hot in summer, so plan walks for early morning and evening; along the coast the weather stays mild almost all year.
Getting outdoors together
Labradoodles love the outdoors here: leashed trails in the Sierra foothills, Bay Area open spaces and dog-friendly beaches when local rules allow. From late spring into summer, foxtails are the biggest outdoor hazard in California — their seeds work into ears, paws and noses, so check your puppy after every walk through dry grass.
Everyday life with your Labradoodle
Many California families live in apartments or townhomes, and a Mini Labradoodle adapts well to that as long as they get daily walks and play. Keep the coat brushed to the skin and book a professional groom every 6–8 weeks.
