Australian Labradoodle Puppies in Colorado
We raise our Mini Australian Labradoodles in our family home in Sacramento, California, and we place them
with families across Colorado — Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder and Fort Collins included. Here is exactly how it works.
Flight nanny to Colorado
Your puppy flies in the cabin with a nanny from Sacramento (SMF) to Denver International (DEN) — about 2.5 hours in the air. You meet them at arrivals.
Or come to Sacramento
Fly in, meet the parents and the litter, and take your puppy home in the cabin the same day. We prepare the carrier and the health certificate.
What travels with the puppy
Health certificate, vaccination record, microchip, ALAA registration, a go-home bag with familiar food and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Questions from Colorado families
Do you deliver Australian Labradoodle puppies to Colorado?
Yes. We are a Sacramento, California breeder and we regularly send puppies to families in Colorado. Most families choose a flight nanny who carries the puppy in the cabin from Sacramento International (SMF) to Denver International (DEN) — the flight takes about 2.5 hours. You meet the nanny at the arrivals gate, and your puppy is in your arms the same day.
Can we come to Sacramento and pick the puppy up ourselves?
Absolutely, and many Colorado families do. You are welcome to fly in, meet the parents and take your puppy home with you in the cabin. We help with the paperwork, the carrier and the health certificate for the flight.
How much does it cost to bring a puppy to Colorado?
Ground transport inside California is included. For Colorado the cost depends on the airport and the season — we quote it honestly before you reserve, with no mark-up on the nanny's fee or the airline ticket.
Is the puppy healthy and ready to travel?
Every puppy leaves with a veterinary health certificate, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a microchip and ALAA registration. Parents are health-tested (OFA hips, elbows, eyes and Orivet DNA), and we never send a puppy before eight weeks of age.

Raising an Australian Labradoodle in Colorado
Climate & coat care in Colorado
Colorado air is dry and the elevation is high. Puppies acclimate quickly, but keep fresh water available at all times, especially on hikes, and expect a little extra static and dryness in the coat — a leave-in conditioning spray before brushing helps. Winters bring snow and de-icing salt on sidewalks, so wipe your puppy’s paws after walks or use a paw balm.
Getting outdoors together
Labradoodles thrive in an active Colorado lifestyle: leashed trails in the foothills, lake walks and plenty of snow play. Build up distance gradually while your puppy’s joints are still growing — short, frequent outings are better than long climbs before about 12–18 months of age.
Everyday life with your Labradoodle
Snowballs collect easily on a fleece coat around the legs and paws, so many owners keep the feet and legs trimmed a little shorter in winter. A professional groom every 6–8 weeks keeps the coat easy to maintain.
