Australian Labradoodle Puppies in Texas
We raise our Mini Australian Labradoodles in our family home in Sacramento, California, and we place them
with families across Texas — Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio included. Here is exactly how it works.
Flight nanny to Texas
Your puppy flies in the cabin with a nanny from Sacramento (SMF) to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) or Houston (IAH) — about 3.5 hours in the air. You meet them at arrivals.
Or come to Sacramento
Fly in, meet the parents and the litter, and take your puppy home in the cabin the same day. We prepare the carrier and the health certificate.
What travels with the puppy
Health certificate, vaccination record, microchip, ALAA registration, a go-home bag with familiar food and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Questions from Texas families
Do you deliver Australian Labradoodle puppies to Texas?
Yes. We are a Sacramento, California breeder and we regularly send puppies to families in Texas. Most families choose a flight nanny who carries the puppy in the cabin from Sacramento International (SMF) to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) or Houston (IAH) — the flight takes about 3.5 hours. You meet the nanny at the arrivals gate, and your puppy is in your arms the same day.
Can we come to Sacramento and pick the puppy up ourselves?
Absolutely, and many Texas families do. You are welcome to fly in, meet the parents and take your puppy home with you in the cabin. We help with the paperwork, the carrier and the health certificate for the flight.
How much does it cost to bring a puppy to Texas?
Ground transport inside California is included. For Texas the cost depends on the airport and the season — we quote it honestly before you reserve, with no mark-up on the nanny's fee or the airline ticket.
Is the puppy healthy and ready to travel?
Every puppy leaves with a veterinary health certificate, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a microchip and ALAA registration. Parents are health-tested (OFA hips, elbows, eyes and Orivet DNA), and we never send a puppy before eight weeks of age.

Raising an Australian Labradoodle in Texas
Climate & coat care in Texas
Texas heat is the first thing to plan around. From late spring to early fall, walk your Labradoodle at sunrise and after sunset, test the pavement before walks, and make sure your puppy always has shade and water outside. A brushed-out fleece coat helps with airflow; a matted coat traps heat.
Getting outdoors together
Texas has wonderful dog-friendly parks, trails and lakes, from the Hill Country around Austin to the large parks in Dallas and Houston. Watch out for fire ant mounds in the grass, and rinse your puppy after lake swims.
Everyday life with your Labradoodle
Because the mild climate keeps fleas, ticks and mosquitoes active much of the year, talk to your veterinarian about year-round heartworm, flea and tick prevention. A professional groom every 6–8 weeks keeps the coat comfortable in the heat.
