Australian Labradoodle Puppies in Washington
We raise our Mini Australian Labradoodles in our family home in Sacramento, California, and we place them
with families across Washington — Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma and Spokane included. Here is exactly how it works.
Flight nanny to Washington
Your puppy flies in the cabin with a nanny from Sacramento (SMF) to Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) — about 2 hours in the air. You meet them at arrivals.
Or come to Sacramento
Fly in, meet the parents and the litter, and take your puppy home in the cabin the same day. We prepare the carrier and the health certificate.
What travels with the puppy
Health certificate, vaccination record, microchip, ALAA registration, a go-home bag with familiar food and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Questions from Washington families
Do you deliver Australian Labradoodle puppies to Washington?
Yes. We are a Sacramento, California breeder and we regularly send puppies to families in Washington. Most families choose a flight nanny who carries the puppy in the cabin from Sacramento International (SMF) to Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) — the flight takes about 2 hours. You meet the nanny at the arrivals gate, and your puppy is in your arms the same day.
Can we come to Sacramento and pick the puppy up ourselves?
Absolutely, and many Washington families do. You are welcome to fly in, meet the parents and take your puppy home with you in the cabin. We help with the paperwork, the carrier and the health certificate for the flight.
How much does it cost to bring a puppy to Washington?
Ground transport inside California is included. For Washington the cost depends on the airport and the season — we quote it honestly before you reserve, with no mark-up on the nanny's fee or the airline ticket.
Is the puppy healthy and ready to travel?
Every puppy leaves with a veterinary health certificate, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a microchip and ALAA registration. Parents are health-tested (OFA hips, elbows, eyes and Orivet DNA), and we never send a puppy before eight weeks of age.

Raising an Australian Labradoodle in Washington
Climate & coat care in Washington
Western Washington is rainy for much of the fall, winter and spring. A fleece or wool Labradoodle coat handles the weather well, but a damp coat mats quickly, so towel-dry after walks and brush to the skin a few times a week. Eastern Washington is drier, with hotter summers and colder winters.
Getting outdoors together
Washington is a fantastic state for outdoor dogs: leashed forest trails in the Cascades, waterfront walks around Puget Sound and plenty of off-leash dog parks in the Seattle area. Keep a towel by the door — muddy paws are part of life in the Northwest.
Everyday life with your Labradoodle
Many Seattle and Bellevue families live in apartments or townhomes, and a Mini Labradoodle adapts well with daily walks and indoor play on rainy days. A professional groom every 6–8 weeks, with the feet and legs kept a little shorter, makes wet-weather cleanup much easier.
